Grief is alive, wild, untamed and cannot be domesticated. It resists the demands to remain passive and still. We move in jangled, unsettled, and riotous ways when grief takes hold of us. It is truly an emotion that rises from the soul.”

My coaching journey has been shaped by many transformative experiences over the years.
In 1985, I began sitting at the bedside of young men dying from AIDS
In 1991, I became a massage therapist specializing in myofascial pain and dysfunction
In 1995, I discovered somatic experiencing and the mind-body connection
In 2013, after a year-long intensive study of myofascial trigger point therapy, I began teaching at two colleges and had a thriving business helping clients with chronic and unexplained pain
In 2020, I studied life coaching and became a death doula, offering emotional and practical support to those at the end of life
Today, as a trauma-informed mind-body coach specializing in grief, I integrate my life's work and experience with Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Attachment, and the Grief Recovery Method to provide professional and compassionate guidance.
I help clients transform their relationships with grief and mortality by using emotional, thought work, and somatic coaching modalities.
